Farm Tomita is one of the many farms in the area which create this reputation by planting giant fields of lavender and other colourful crops such as tulips. Left is a picture of one of the many scenic vistas available to tourists who visit the farm. The farm also sells many products based on the lavender it produces, from lavender scented candles and soap to lavender flavoured drinks and ice cream.<\/p>\n<p>From Sapporo we go to Asahikawa first and then continue to Furano line. First stop was Shikisei Hill, from Asahikawa with Furano line we stop at Bibaushi station. From station it&#8217;s 1.5km walking or you could rent a bike at near the station.<\/p>\n<p>Since we were with the elder and can&#8217;t walk far and there is no other transportation option, so we just stroll around and then continue to Farm Tomita.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sgdg-gallery-container\" data-sgdg-hash=\"574a5c4156fd6dbd6ad34028cf216e97fb00c88e9819bf1f11b72124ece4bb9d\"><div class=\"sgdg-loading\"><div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>Farm Tomita<\/h2>\n<p>From Bibaushi we continue to Furano stop by at Naka-Furano station. It&#8217;s also 1.5km walk or you can take taxi from the station to Tomita Farm which was around 800 yen. <\/p>\n<p>Tomita Farm was well known in the area to many tourist for the best spot to view the lavender, whose lavender and flower fields with the Tokachi mountain range as backdrop are spectacular. The popular farm is free to enter and besides the flower fields has cafes and shops that sell a wide range of lavender related products.
