We are going to Lake Tekapo in Twizel. Lake Tekapo is the second-largest of three roughly parallel lakes running north\u2013south along the northern edge of the Mackenzie Basin in the South Island of New Zealand.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sgdg-gallery-container\" data-sgdg-hash=\"0a59bb60d2bb645cefc802509eb4c938d32c36014bb1524e3cfc2a4b6336627e\"><div class=\"sgdg-loading\"><div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p><h2>Church of The Good Shepperd<\/h2>\n<p>Near the lake also there&#8217;s a small church well known by it&#8217;s name Church of the Good Sheperd, which, in 1935, was the first church built in the Mackenzie Basin. Close to the Church of the Good Shepherd is a well-known bronze statue of a New Zealand Collie sheepdog.
