Arriving in Hongkong early in the morning after midnight flight from Singapore left us with not enough proper rest. I mean we just lay down in Changi Airport 3 hour before flight and tried to sleep at the plane, still for me doesn\u2019t named sleep if not lay down and in a bed.<\/p>\n
After arriving and proceed the customs we had a breakfast first at Crytal Jade, it was congee with no MSG, i think if this restaurant open up in Jakarta with no MSG style would be close soon, LOL. Finished up ww going to terminal bus downstair to catch a S1 bus route to Tung Chung Station where Ngong Ping 360 located. <\/p>\n
Bus in Hong Kong not provide changes, so if you paid by cash not using an Octopus then you\u2019re really surely will not get a change if paid with bigger amount. This route cost 3.5 HKD for 1 person and since i don\u2019t have small notes so we pay in 10 HKD with no return.<\/p>\n
Arriving at Tung Chung Station we walk to the Tung Chung Cable Car Terminus where we will emabark to Ngong Ping 360 with cable car. The terminus open at 9 AM, when we arrive it\u2019s not open yet. So we store our luggage fisrt at 70 HKD per day and go to Tung Chung station to buy an Octopus card, it\u2019s 150 HKD per adult including deposit 50 HKD that can be return if you give back the card.<\/p>\n
Almost 9 AM we back to the cable car terminus, our plan is heading up with standard cabin car and back with bus no.23 to Tung Chung again. Ticket price for a single trip with standard cabin is 105HKD. The different with crystal cabin is with glass bottom.<\/p>\n
The Journey took a 25 minutes ride, it\u2019s the longest cable car i\u2019ve been ride i think compare to Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. Arriving at upper terminus we pass Ngong Ping Village, this place consist of a store selling various goods like souvenir, handycrats, apparel and artcrafts.<\/p>\n
After pass Ngong Ping Village we climb up stairs to Tian Tan Budha, a big budha statue up in the valley. Our leg a bit tired climb up there, but that\u2019s nothing compared to the photo we took. <\/p>\n
Finished up there we go down and walk to Po Lin Monastery, this place seem under renovation.<\/p>\n
After that we plan to go to Wisdom Path, but since our leg is a bit pain we decide to go back not continued. We go back to bus terminus, it\u2019s located near Ngong Ping Village. <\/p>\n
Riding back to Tung Chung Station we continued to City Gate Outlet Mall, a mall with a store consisted of a many international brand with discount from 50% up all year around. She is looking for a boot, and it found at Timberland outlet, but fortunately sad that the store doesn\u2019t have the size. So we didn\u2019s buy anything there.<\/p>\n
Tired after not sleep well in two day in a row make us leaving City Gate outlet mall early. We take MTR from Tung Chung to Tsim Sha Shui via transit at Lai KIng. The route to city from airport if you want the cheapest one is with SI bus to Tung Chung and continue with MTR. If you directly with airport express it will cost a lot.<\/p>\n
Out stays place located in Chungking Mansion, a place with many Indians people, it\u2019sseem scary from impression but it\u2019s safe i thing. The bad side is they will tried to sold you fake rolex or hotel room. <\/p>\n
In this place there\u2019s a lot similar kind of business, many of them are group or owned by a single person. We book at Comforrt Guest House but instead they put us up at New Hong Kong Hostels. But that\u2019s okay since it also clean.<\/p>\n
You will be shock if you seeing the spacious hostel room in the precinct, since the land is so expensive in Hong Kong so space is a common problem in there. But anyway this is a budget hostels, you can\u2019t hope a high quality for small cost.<\/p>\n
Our initial plan was we rest for 1 hours and the night is we are going to Avenue of Stars and Sympohny of Light, but instead of 1 hour after that we woke up we sleep till tommorow, maybe because we already really tired.<\/p>\n
