Milford Sound Cruise
Today we take a full day coach+cruise+lunch tour to Milford Sound with Awesomenz Summer Encounter from Queenstown since we want to relax a little bit from self driving and considering the destination is pocket road, which mean there is only a single way in and out. There is no alternative route, thats why we anchor ourself in Queenstown and prefer a public tour pick us up start and finish from Queenstown. Pick up arrive in the morning and heading to Milford Sound thru Hommer tunnel which know for its longest tunnel thru inside the mountain for as long as 1.2km. The weather is humid and cool.
Along the road the couch bus stop at several point for a moment to enjoy the scenery at Fiordland National Park and also in the Te Anau city for relax a while or having lunch.
The cruise sail for 2.5 hours along the fiord. Many seal and bird seen there, sunbathing at the rock with no fear of our cruise approaching. Also we encounter a waterfall there, showering from top of the cliff right down to water.
We back at evening from there, return by same coach bus.
