Jiuzhaigou Valley National Park

Today morning from Xi’an we departing to Jiuzhaigou with China Eastern Airlines, it took one hour flight. We then will be pick up by chaffeur that we already arranged earlier with Angelie Hotel. The cost for pickup service from airport to hotel is 240RMB and last day transfer from hotel to Huanglong first then to Airport cost us 480RMB.
Our hotel is located near the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Valley, it’s walkable, maybe about 200-300 meter long.
Jiuzhaigou Valley
Jiuzhaigou (literally “Nine Village Valley”) takes its name from the nine Tibetan villages along its length. It is a nature reserve and national park located in the north of Sichuan, China. Jiuzhaigou Valley is part of the Min Mountains on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau and stretches over 72,000 hectares (180,000 acres). It is known for its many multi-level waterfalls, colorful lakes, and snow-capped peaks. Its elevation ranges from 2,000 to 4,500 metres (6,600 to 14,800 ft). It was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
This area is closed to vehicle. People moving around in here by bus that is provided and its already included in ticket fee, so it’s free. The entrance fee 440RMB for two day entrance.
We finish the day at 6:00 PM and this is the closing for the national park, we will continue tommorow for unvisited yet area. The remaining of the day is we going to watch Tibetan Culture Show plus dining for 120RMB per people, it’s included pickup and return from hotel.
