Phi Phi Islands & Phuket Fantasea
Phi Phi Don & Phi Phi Ley
Today our schedule is for Phi Phi Ley, Phi Phi Don and Khai Islands one day tour with speed boat. Mr.Warsono arrive at 8 am and drive us at to the tour office for briefing. Since the pier location (Rassada Pier) near our hostel so we arrive first before the others. Mostly other people stay at the Patong area with much crowd compared to Phuket Town area.
After the others arrives we the having briefing for short then go to pier by car to transfer to the speed boat. Our group only 14 person total in a boat and we leave early ahead of the schedule half an hour. The trip itinerary will start from Maya Bay – Loh Sama Bay, Pileh Lagoon – Viking Cave (Phi Phi Ley area) and lunch at Phi Phi Don also to Monkey Cave and the last stop is to Khai Nai Islands before back to Phuket town again.
We go down to the beach in Maya Bay, Khai Islands and Phi Phi Don for lunch, the others are sightseeing only from the boat. From pier to Maya Bay took 1 hours and we spend time 45 minute in there. This place is known for “The Beach” movie shooting staring Leonardo DiCaprio, since that time this place is over crowded with many tourist. That’s right when we there also there is lot of people.
The sands in this beach is white and the water color is blue. From there we have a walk for a moment to the other side of the beach where Lo Samah Bay location is. Walking no more than 10 minutes thru the jungle and climbing short stair. Finish there we back to the boat again.
Next is just like the itinerary stated aboved, then having lunch in Phi Phi Don. It’s buffet and we can ate unlimited.
Phuket Fantasea
Back from the journey we back to the tour office again. In there we borrow the bath room for having a shower considering much closer and effective to the place of our next destination which is Phuket Fantasea at Kamala.
On the trip to there we stop a moment at Madunan, a gift and souvenir shop. This place sold anything ranging from clothes to freezer magnet. I’m buying freezer magnet in here for adding my collection every time we visiting a new place.
We arrive exactly at 6 pm at Fantasea, this place major attraction is show at the Palace of Elephant, running for about 1 hour starting at 9 pm. Before that we stroll around first and took photograph at the area since the place is also thematic with many interesting place that called Thai Villages.
After enough taking photograph we then go to Golden Kinaree Restaurant for having a buffet dinner here. This huge restaurant was aim for visitor to Fantasea. The package include dinner buffet is add 200 baht from 1.600 baht initial for show only. If you buy directly from the counter it cost 2.400 baht not include transfer. The menu in here is also various and quite delicious. After dinner we then go out again looking around until the theatre gate opening at 8:20 pm.
After open we go inside the place, we got third floor seat in the center row, but before that we must deposit our camera and handphone first, it’s to prevent us from taking picture the show. But to me it’s seem odd since there is no checking gate for our bag again after deposite so if we said we don’t have camera then it would skip passed thru. But they have a security inside that monitoring the usage of camera, one man seated beside caught with it and the camera quickly being held by the security.
As in the show for me it’s quite plain compared to Chaoyang in Beijing and House of Dancing Water in Macau, some of the scene looks boring, but overall is okay for the first timer as for to know.
Finish up after the show at 10:15 we pick up our camera that had been deposited before and back to hostel with Mr.Warsono that already wait outside in the exit area.
