Tanjung Kelayang Beach – Kelayang
Tanjung Kelayang Beach is located in the district Sijuk Kelayang about 27 Km from the capital Tanjungpandan Belitung province. Tanjung Kelayang Beach is one of the goals tourist attractions in Belitung. Tanjung Kelayang has coast along approximately 1.5 km and width of the beach ± 7 m at the highest tide and ± 10 m during low tide. This beach has an area of about 60 hectares.
With sandy beaches and calm blue sea and the panorama of palm trees along its coast make this beach is perfect for those who want to relax while swimming or sunbathing among granite rocks composed stunning. For those of you who like photography, Tanjung Kelayang is the right place to satisfy your hobby.
Hopping Islands
Burung Island
This island when we hopping island is a large granite rocks shaped like birds are incubating eggs. Among the granite rocks that resembles the bird, in which there is a very beautiful lake that can be encountered at low tide, the rocks can be reached only by foot if the water is receding. This island is the place that deserves to be a place to linger to enjoy the calm atmosphere of the beach.
Lengkuas Island
Lengkuas is one of the islands in the Pacific Islands which has ancient lighthouse. 70 meter high tower was built in the Dutch colonial era in 1882. Its fun, you can enjoy views of the Pacific Islands from the top of the lighthouse.
This lighthouse is not visible from the main island of Belitung, but getting there is not difficult. You could go there from Tanjung Kelayang, which is only 30 minutes from downtown, then go rent a boat. Boat rental fee varies depending on the agreement. A boat trip to the island of Galangal not long, only about 40-60 minutes if the tide was friendly. Tanjung Tinggi Beach – Tanjung Pandan
Tanjung Tinggi Beach is one of the beautiful places in Belitung. The beach is also a place for the filming location of the movie Laskar Pelangi. White sandy beaches, has a big stones, and crystal clear waters. Beautiful!
Tanjung Tinggi Beach is about 30 km from the city center Tanjung Pandan, Belitung. It’s shape of a small bay, and has a length of approximately 100 m. Upon arrival, you will immediately be tempted to run and play on the beach. The beach was very white and very clean. The water was turquoise. Absolutely perfect, as you spend time in Tanjung Tinggi Beach.
If walking eastward on this beach, you’ll find granite stones are large. This is where the set of the movie Laskar Pelangi. The rocks were very big and strong. Naturally, this will be an experience that will not be forgotten.
