Fuji Shibazakura Festival
Today we going to Fuji Shibazakura Festival. This festival was held annually ussualy every May. Shibazakura literally a pink carpet produced by nature
Shibazakura is a flower that grows thickly, covering the ground like a lawn. The shape of its pretty flower petals looks like that of sakura (cherry blossoms) and it comes in a variety of colors including different shades of pink, white, and light purple, with some petals having striped patterns.
Near Lake Motosu, located at the base of Mt. Fuji, there is area where shibazakura grow. During the time when the first flowers bloom each year, the “Fuji Shibazakura Festival” is held. The view of Mt Fuji and shades of pink of the blooming shibazakura is spectacular. There are six different varieties and more than around 800,000 shibazakura, covering 2.4 hectares of land. Footbaths are provided at the venue during the festival period so that visitors can relieve the fatigue from their journey while enjoying the magnificent view. Moreover, the “Mt. Fuji Delicious Food Festival” is also held at the same venue, where you can taste local cuisines and sweets.
Well from the reference should be, i guess we are not in correct time (full bloom) when visiting this place, but still enjoying tho.

The Kawaguchiko Music Forest (Kawaguchiko Orgel no Mori) is a small theme park and museum devoted to automatic musical instruments. Its main hall displays antique music boxes, mechanical organs and other automatic musical instruments mostly from European countries. The largest of them is a French fairground organ from 1905 which takes up an entire hall and plays every 30 minutes. The main building also houses a concert hall where classical musicians from around the world perform.
The park outside encloses European style gardens with good views of Mount Fuji across the lake. Walking paths lead among the garden’s manicured lawns and winding canal, connecting the museums’s restaurant, shops, chapel and rose garden to one another. The Music Forest is run by the Ukai Group, which also operates the Glass Forest, a Venetian glass museum in Hakone.
Well this place is same theme site like in Hakone which we have visited before.
Back to Hotel and later have a dine at Tetsuya Tepannyaki near the Hotel.
