Mt.Moiwa Ropeway
Wake up early morning to catch a shinkansen train from Ueno to Shin Hakodate Hokuto with Hayabusa and then continue to Sapporo with Limited Express Super Hokuto, totally 8 hour rides.
At Sapporo we stay at Unwind Hotel & Cafe for 3 night. The rate is 11.900 yen per night for quadruple. This hotel located at near Nakajima Koen subway Namboku line stop. We use Sapporo as an anchor city to visit other place outside Sapporo such as Furano, Otaru and Asahikawa.
Mount Moiwa Ropeway
After check-in and drop luggage we going to Mount Moiwa Ropeway. From hotel we walk to Higashi Hongaji Mae tram station to Ropeway Iriuguchi and then continue with free shuttle service provided to the ropeway base station. Ticket for round trip including ropeway and mini cable car was 1700 yen, while for senior is 1.370 yen.
First from base station take a ropeway to mid station then continue with mini cable car to the top station. From the top you can view the city of Sapporo. It’s recommended that you go there at the evening so that you can enjoy three different moment which was evening, sunset and then city of light. It’s quite cold up there, so don’t forget to wear warm clothes.
We back to hotel with same route we we go.
