Fuji Q Highland & Kawaguchiko

Fuji Q Highland

Today is the last day we are in Kawaguchiko. For the last day we go to Fuji Q Highland theme park.

Fuji-Q Highland is located next to the Kawaguchiko I.C. along the Chuo Expressway. There are numerous “Guiness-level” attractions, including “Eejanaika,” the roller coasting boasting the highest total number of spins in the world, “FUJIYAMA” “DODONPA,” and “Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear 4.0.”

There are also popular character theme-parks such as “THOMAS LAND.”

Fuji-Q Highland is bound to amuse all ranges of visitors, but in my view it suit most for thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie.

We used QR code diacount for entrance to Fuji Q. Four of us was entering with 3 free entrance with showing passport and one 3 free rides for 2100yen. For me the free entrance is worth a lot since the theme park is suitable for thrill seeker type person and adrenalin junkie. Almost all the rides in here are extreme. The most known rides is Eejainekan, Takabhisa, Fujiyama Coaster, etc.

After finish we take Fujikyu train back to Kawaguchiko Station and get the luggage from the hotel which we store earlier and back to station to take JR Rapid Holiday train to Shinjuku in Tokyo. Riding this train you should pay the fare for the Kawaguchiko to Onitsuka section, while from Onitsuka to Shinjuku is covered with JR Rail Passes. From Shinjuku we continue to Ueno with Yamanote line bound for Itabashi.

Tonight we stay at Ueno Hotel near the station just for stop over for tommorow going to Sapporo. Just take the Iriya exit gate and go pass couple block, the hotel is beside APA Hotel Ekimae and nearby there is Lawson.

Here are various photo taken for the last 3 days we in Kawaguchiko.
