Fushimi Inari, Sagano Romantic Train, Monkey Park Iwatayama, Tenryuji Temple & Kyoto Tower

Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
Third day we plan to explore Arashiyama, West from Kyoto. But before that in the morning we visit Fushimi Inari first. We take JR train from Kyoto Station depart to Joyo/Nara, we stop at Inari Station. This place is known for its red coloumn like a kaminori gate line up together. Not long we explore there, after seems enough taking photograph we get back to train heading for Kyoto Station again to catch Sanin Line to Arashimaya so we have much time there, since today out itinerary focus in there.
Sagano Romantic Train
Taking Sanin line depart for Kameoka or Sonobe we get out at Saga Arashiyama Station, next to this station is Torroko Saga Station, known for its romantic train. This train designed with wide window and can be opened, its departed every hour. The ticket price fot the ride is 620 yen per person and its take 18 minute from Torroko Saga to Kameoka Station, the last station for this train.
When in summer or last spring there is not much thing great to see, only a greenery and Hozu river at side of the track. I believe this line is good when in Spring and Autumn for its colourfull scenery and also in winter for its white snow.
Arriving at the end of track we are planned to take Hozugawa River Rides, its a 2 hours ride in a boat from Kameoka to Saga Arashiyama. But the weather is not good, its rainy. So instead we got sick buy taking a 2 hour ride in a windy weather we decide to take the JR train back to Saga Arashiyama.
Arashiyama
JR train from Kameoka station is 10 minute walking, and its JR Umahori station. After we back at Arashiyama our priorities is get some food to eat. Looking around we decide taking a restaurant because we think its looks delicious from the picture they present. But after tasting it, i think its serve in a raw. Do not want to think long before my stomach turn around upside down, i ate it quickly enough in just not 5 minute the food already finished.
Monkey Park Iwatayama
Continue the itinerary our first sightseeing is Togetsukyo Bridge and then continue to Iwatayama Monkey Park. Entrance fee for monkey park is 320 per person. Hiking up to the top where the monkey gather around is really tired, its said normal time is 20 minute walking from entrance, but for me i think its more than 20 minutes :). My heart is already beat up quick and my breath is already heavy.
Arriving at top there’s is a house for visitor to feed the monkey, they doesnt allowed visitor to feed monkey directly, maybe cause its wild and danger if we give directly they will attack us and its vulnerable. A Japan monkey is a litlle bit different from monkey in our country. Their face and butt is red colour, just like a drunken people after drinking a lot of wine hehe. Beside that visitor can blend with the monkey in the field outside the safe house watching Arashiyama city from the top.
Tenryuji Temple
Finished up there we get down to city again passing Togetsukyo bridge heading to Tenryuji Temple and to Bamboo Forest.
Kyoto Tower
After 6:00 PM we get back to Kyoto again, back to hostel. Before that we have a dinnet at Restaurant in Kyoto Station. Back at hostel, feeling tired my wives falls asleep and i don’t want to wake her up since we still have to go to Kyoto Tower at night. I decide to go there alone, gearing up my stuff i walk thru the station along the subway and exit at Kyoto Tower. Cross the street finding a good spots and bring out my tripod and start taking photograph.
Satisfied we the pictures, pack my stuff again and heading back to Hostel. Along the subway i stop at minimart and but a bread. Arrive at Hostel then take a shower, after that like usual transfer photo from my camera to computer and start blogging my story. This is the story for today.
