Mutianyu Great Wall, Bird Nest & Watercube Olympic Stadium,
Wake up in the morning from hostel to Dongzhimen station planning to go to Mutianyu Great Wall by tourist bus 867. Because we go with the elder so we took a cab from hostel to station, the driver didn’t drop us in front of station instead the opposite road. I don’t know why most of the experince we have about people in China specially related to driver is negative. They tend to scam us, if did not success then they will find a way to dissapoint you. But that not assume all of people in public service is bad, some of them also kind and generous.
Continue the story, after we walk accross the road to the station we go inside the station, but none of the tourist bus number has been seen. Myself then initiative to find outside the building where is this bus parked while the others is waiting at one point. While i’m still searching for the bus spot, a chinese lady approach the other offering a service but barely can’t speak english at all. As i warn before to my wife for disobey her and she did, the lady keep asking and approaching try to sale her service.
At some point she managed get what we want and offering her transportation service, a quite little bit expensive but more cheaper than a taxi that tried to scam us before. At other place i finally found the bus parking spot, this bus will depart soon, so i rush back to where they are and tell them to leave the lady and quickly go back to that place.
The lady sucessfully convincing the others, maybe she lowered the price to a more attractive price. Considering the offer and the situation of the elder for long walk, finally I agree with the others. But you know what after we say yes, she said that we should take taxi first to go to some place where the car located, that is some shit for me and quite make me mad. For me the lady is trying to held and distract us from taking the bus (that is the last bus for the day).
We then force to leave that lady and rush back to the bus spot. Sadly because of a long walk and the pace of the elder can’t be fast the bus already leave at the moment nearly arrive. That really dissapointed, specially my wife.
We then managed to get information to go there with public bus and twice transfer. After we get off the first bus…
