Seoraksan National Park
Today starting at 9am from Mr Egg Hostel after having breakfast with bread and egg, we walk not far heading to Sokcho Intercity bus terminal for bus stop right next to it. Our destination is Seoraksan Mountain Park, also listed as one of Unesco World Heritage. To go there we get on to public bus no.7 or 7-1 until last stop, the fare is 1.200 won per person adult, child is free of charge.

Not for long. Only half an hour we already arrive at the park, the admission for the park is total 22.000 won for 6 adult and 2 children, I forgot the exact amount fare per person. From there we first going up to Gwongeumsong Fortress by cable car then a little hike. The cable car ticket sold at 10.000krw return and for the child is 6.000krw.
After arriving at the upper terminal we continue walking the trail to the top of Gwongeumsong, this place is a rocky mountain. Only my mother and my wife that finish hike to the top, the other wait at the base while me stop before the sloppy section since i’m afraid of high,
Back from the top, return to the lower terminal we having a lunch. Not many restaurant to choose inside the park, we entering one of the restaurant. The price not really expensive though compared to what we have at Nami before. The average price for the main menu are ranging from 8.000 to 10.000krw. We order Jilbimbap, Pork cutlet and 1 other menu that i don’t know the name. Cost us total 32.000krw.
Not spending a long time there because we must catch an express bus from Sokcho to Dong Seoul since the last bus is at 7:40pm we quickly hurried back exit the park to get on the bus number 7-1 again and stop at Sokcho Express Bus Station stop.
We arrive in terminal at 6:15pm, after buying ticket (17.200krw per person) we have an evening dine at Lotteria next to the terminal. This is a fast food chain store in Korea like KFC. Ordering a bucket of chicken, french fries and a couple of drink.
Back to terminal at 7:30pm and boarding the bus took us two and half hour arriving at Dong-Seoul Bus Terminal at 10:00. Walk a little bit from bus station to Jamsil subway station and continue with subway green line (line 2) from Jamsil to Hongik University for Family Housetel again.
